Born in a small town in India, I have always been an introspective, intellectual, hardworking and curious being. I did my undergraduate education at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology in Guwahati, India , where I earned my Bachelor’s with Major in Design and Minor in Electronics and Communication engineering. Before coming to Georgia Tech, I worked for 2yrs as a User Experience Researcher and Designer at Samsung Research India.
A narrative and systematic thinker, I love to understand deep human experiences and build ideas that improve people’s lives and have a positive impact on the world around me. I am fascinated by problems that lie at the intersection of technology, design, and behavioral psychology. In past, I have worked in niche and exciting areas like Accessibility for visually impaired, Voice based personal agents, Macro behaviour and needs for low income youth in India, Enterprise UX, Learning and educational technology, and Digital health .
While not working, you could find me warming up with Punjabi Bhangra, doing cardio in a cricket field, getting my energy back with cooking newly experimented Indian dish, and finally relaxing with strumming a new song on my guitar, reading a book about 'why's and how's' of human brain and behaviors, and having stimulating and informed "what next", political and spiritual conversations .
